ABOUT

Bianca Foratori (1991) is a visual artist based in São Paulo, with a degree in Fashion Design and a specialization in Art Education. She develops a practice that articulates painting, textile techniques, installation, and interventions in public space, focusing on the female experience in the relations between memory, territory, and daily life. Her research investigates networks of care, popular knowledge, family memories, and intimate experiences that persist in the fissures of history and circulate on the margins of hegemonic systems of art and knowledge.

Among her main exhibitions are the solo show "The Invisible Hand" at the 31st CCSP Exhibition Program, and group exhibitions at the Museum of Sacred Art of São Paulo, SESC 24 de Maio, National Museum of Fine Arts, Ubatuba Visual Arts Salon, CCSP, as well as international participations at Hashimoto Contemporary (Los Angeles), Nil Gallery (Paris), and Sharjah Biennial (United Arab Emirates), in addition to artistic residencies in Brazil and Italy. Throughout her career, she has also collaborated with brands such as Avon, Instituto Natura, La Guapa, Vivo, C&A, among others, in addition to workshops and various projects at institutions such as SESC, the Immigration Museum, and Itaú Cultural.
